Action Items from the SDWCA Board Meeting

Here are the Action items from the SDWCA board meeting. I am still trying to track down some hosts for this years district and region tourneys - I will get sites out asap.

1.Coaches cards will need the SDWCA stamp. Cost $10. Will be done at Districts and Regions.

2. Age group rotation was accepted for sending 4 kids from region to state. This year region 1. will send 4 tots, 2. willsend 4 bantams, 3. will send 4 midgets, 4. will send 4 novice, 5. will send 4 schoolboys and cadets

3. This year the SDWCA helped to send 243 kids on trips.

4. New Hall of Fame members: Wade Lager, Justin Harty, Paul Konechne, Tim Weisz, Chad Lamers, Jodi Larsen - Friend of Wrestling

5. Disney coaches for next two years
2010 - Waba, Ernster, Pranger, Geditz
2011 - Daugherty, Donovan, Weiss, Carpenter

6. All cards and tourney sanctions must be done on line

7.Birth cert will no longer need to be shown at events. One less thing for tournament directors to track. If someone challenges an athletes age the challenged athlete must produce a birth certificate or certified AAU card (this can also be done on line) or will be taken out of tourney.

8. Dates for District Region and State are
March 6th
March 13th
March 26/27/28
